Google Assistant

Google Assistant is an AI-powered virtual assistant that can engage in two-way conversation, available on both mobile and smart home devices. Google Assistant interacts with natural voice, though keyboard functions are supported, to perform tasks such as searching the internet, looking up account information, scheduling events on your calendar, and more.

Google Assistant has the ability to record conversation but should be only doing so when activated. However, there have been various occasions where customers have not been made aware of recorded private conversations. This has drawn attention to the growing potential breach in customer privacy that technology companies have been ignoring.
