Aragon Research Market Survey: Digital Business Platforms and Applications

by Betsy Burton

We just sent out the Digital Business Platform and Applications survey to about 27 providers, and while we are not looking to expand the field significantly, we don’t want to miss someone who may be delivering a solution that meets these criteria.

Do you provide a digital business platform? Aragon Research wants to hear from you.

If your firm meets the criteria in this blog, we encourage you to participate in the survey.

Not Just Technology; Must Provide Services

As I wrote about last week, vendors providing these products should not just be focused on the technology or the technology platform.

Vendors must also provide the services, business capabilities, and advice to help their customers develop a digital business strategy. AND, your references should reflect these services and a successful digital business strategy.

Additional Inclusion Criteria

In addition to meeting the market requirement, your company and product must also meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of $10 million in primary revenue for Digital Business or a minimum of $8 million in revenue in a related market (Process/Work Management, AI/Analytics, IoT/Edge Computing, Cloud Integration/Development/RPA, and Smart Business Applications/Micro Services).

• For either market, a vendor needs to have at least 80% of the modules to be evaluated.

• Shipping product—Product must be announced and available.

• Customer References—Vendors must produce a minimum of three customer references in each hemisphere that the vendor participates in.

• Supporting services—Such as customer support, partner ecosystem, consulting, etc.

Bottom Line

If your company has a product that meets the market and inclusion criteria, please do let us know by emailing info@aragonresearch.com. Do be aware that it will take an investment of time and resources to complete this market survey, and will need to be completed by September 1, 2019.

We will be working on this Globe over the next few months, and plan to release the Aragon Research Digital Business Platform Globe by EOY 2019 and the Digital Business Application Globe by early 2020.
