Box Launches Box Hubs, Doubles Down on Box AI

Box held its annual Box Works Conference virtual event yesterday and it didn’t disappoint. The event was strong – and probably could have been stronger in person.

Besides Aaron Levie, they had OpenAI’s Sam Altman as a guest. There is strong product momentum right now at Box and this blog analyzes the big news.

Box Doubles Down on Box AI

Box’s CEO Aaron Levie spent a good part of his keynote talking about Artificial Intelligence and its impact on Content. Box AI, which was announced in May, has more of a full set of deliverables including:

Analysis of Box AI – Others Will Follow

Box now has what is essentially a document assistant for their users. This is where the entire content management market is headed. Besides Google and Microsoft, a few other Content Management providers have dove in. However, Aragon Research feels all other content management providers will be forced to.

Prediction: By YE 2024, 75% of Content Management providers will offer a Gen AI-based Document Assistant (70% probability).
