Microsoft Announces Copilot X, GPT-4 Integration
Recently, Microsoft’s subsidiary GitHub announced a new version of the Copilot tool it offers for coding assistance and automated code assembly. GitHub Copilot X will leverage GPT-4 to deliver more sophisticated AI tools for developers.

What Is Copilot X?
GitHub Copilot X is an ambitious upgrade to its AI-driven programmer’s assistant that will integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4 technology. The company aims to expand Copilot’s capabilities by introducing it to pull requests, command lines, and documentation, ultimately enhancing its usefulness for developers.
This upgrade features Copilot Chat, providing a ChatGPT-like experience within tools like Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio. The chat interface interprets code and error messages, offering in-depth analysis, code explanations, unit test creation, and bug fix proposals.
Copilot will also integrate with Pull Requests, auto-generating tags based on code changes. The Copilot for Docs utilizes a chat interface to answer documentation questions for languages, frameworks, and technologies. Finally, Copilot for the CLI can generate commands, loops, and manage intricate find flags.
