Digital Transaction Management and the Rise of Digital Assets
Of the many ways to manage content, most involve a content management system of some sort. However, there are different levels of need in DTM, and sometimes straightforward, secure storage is not enough. Managing documents that are themselves business assets, such as equipment leases or promissory notes, requires a special process that exceeds the capabilities in most ECM systems. This process is called DTM Asset Management.
