Summer Intern Wrap Up: 3 Takeaways

By Evan Vuckovic, Marketing Intern

I think this is an appropriate time to apply the expression “all good things must come to an end.” I say this because the final days of my internship are forthcoming and I just had a moment to reflect upon my experiences as an intern. This blog covers just that—a few takeaways I’ve compiled while interning this Summer for Aragon Research.

Classic Beginner Tasks

For starters, I’d like to announce that most of my experiences took place alongside trusted advisors. Where I had the opportunity to see the Aragon Research team in action and do what I do best, become a sponge. I’m quite grateful for the amount of industry “know-how’s” shared with me from the moment I was onboarded up and through the day my internship ends.

Although I’ve been asked to perform classic intern tasks such as filling the Keurig K-cup tree and purchasing a gallon of milk, I also learned what a lot of interns typically don’t—that learning and work go hand-in-hand. Here are my three takeaways:

A Thank-You

With that said, I’d like to extend my gratitudes for having the opportunity to work alongside such an amazing organization. One that has enabled me to be fully-immersed in marketing, and to truly experience their culture. I’d say that Aragon Research challenges the typical internship experience, and is a leading exemplar for Talent Management.

One Last Endeavour

All in all, I had a great time interning this summer. I’ve tried all but one thing at Aragon Research, and it’s the AR1 Drone the Writing Intern, Jack, has been raving about in his blog Intern Update: Videos and Getting to Know Our Drone – Ar1.
