We celebrated risk taking, innovation, and excellence at our second annual Hot Vendor and Innovation awards ceremony in Redwood City.

The night we look forward to each and every year has come and gone—another Aragon Research awards ceremony and holiday party is in the books.
Last night at the Pullman Hotel in Redwood City, CA, we formally congratulated the winners of our 2016 Hot Vendor and Innovation Awards while enjoying drinks, hor d’ouerves, and the company of risk takers and thought leaders in Silicon Valley and beyond. We couldn’t have executed such a great event without our gold sponsor IBM and silver sponsors Nintex, Polycom, and ClearSlide!
After our opening cocktail reception, Jim Lundy, CEO of Aragon Research, and Jim Sinur, VP and Research Fellow, began the formal presentation of our Hot Vendor awards. Seventy four providers were selected as Hot Vendors this year, and were recognized for having a new technology that expands capabilities, a new strategy that opens up markets, or just a new way of doing business that makes them worth evaluating. We ended the night with our Innovation Awards, which recognize the experimenters in Silicon Valley and those who are leading the charge for change in their markets—or even creating entirely new categories—by leveraging or combining technology that others have been slow to adopt. This year, we awarded 16 providers in both existing and brand new categories.
