Enterprises that allow their users to access Facebook via their work PC are now vulnerable, given the huge Ramnit attack that just took place. Enterprises in the UK should be worried, but no one is immune from future attacks.
Of course, we did warn about the potential for this in one of our first Research Notes titled: In a World of Cyber-Espionage, Facebook is Not a Friend of Your Enterprise (link).
In that note, we offer three ways to manage Facebook (including options such as Application firewalls). One thing is clear, doing nothing is not an option. Don’t let your enterprise get hacked (via an endpoint (laptop)).
