Workflow and content automation is a spin-out market from digital transaction management. To date, the focus has been on document generation. With Nintex’s move, enterprises, particularly business professionals, can now speed up workflow designs with this new capability. The only caveat is that you need to have Nintex Promapp® for autogeneration to work.
Business People Can Take Control When You Automate Workflows
Many might ask: who cares about workflows? Business people do, and the problem is, many workflows are originally set-up by IT. Once they are set-up, a frequent problem is that they become outdated quickly but no one is willing to take the time to update them because they can be notoriously difficult to set-up. With newer generations of workflow, business people, such as a CRM admin, can easily get started with deploying their first workflows. Now with a generator tool, they can continue to set-up many more.
Innovation In the WCA Market Puts Others On Notice
This marks a shift in the WCA market. While most of the innovation has been in the document generation area, this announcement by Nintex puts others on notice. It’s no longer about just automating document generation; it’s about automating the generation of workflows. This relates to the overall theme of robotic process automation but is more closely tied to content-related processes.
