You’ve likely heard us talk about the Aragon Guest Network (AGN for short) if you’ve attended an Aragon webinar or perused our website–but what is it, really? What do you gain by signing up? Is there a catch?
The Aragon Guest Network is a community you can join for free that gives you access to an exclusive community and research that you can only access by 1) joining the AGN or 2) becoming a client. The AGN membership lasts for 45 days.
So, what exactly do you get by signing up for the AGN? This blog will aim to answer this question and more.
What does the AGN offer?
Aragon Guest Groups
After you create an AGN account, you will be able to join whichever AGN groups spark your interest. The home page or main dashboard is called the ‘All Network’ group, which will help you stay up to date on more generic information. Joining additional groups means you will be able to access the specific content (such as research notes, eBooks, infographics, and more) posted within that group, related to that specific topic. You can also communicate with other members in the group. You can join as many or as few groups as you please. There are 16 groups to choose from:
Constant Updates of New Content
As a member of the AGN, you will receive notifications (on your account) from Aragon members letting you know about new blogs, infographics, eBooks, webinars, demo days, and more, that you may access for free. Notifications will vary from group to group, to ensure that you only receive information that is relevant to the groups you have chosen to join (for example, if you chose to join the ‘Unified Communications and Collaboration’ group, you can visit this group to find Aragon’s latest UCC-specific resources (see example below).
Access to Free Research
Perhaps one of the most exciting things about joining the AGN is that you gain free access to a select number of Aragon’s research notes.
Our research is action-oriented to keep you up to date on the latest technology, solve your business challenges, and identify strategic opportunities for growth. We aim to help you maintain your competitive edge, streamline your operations, and increase your bottom line. We publish objective research to help you understand and apply the technologies that will impact your business. Our research offerings leverage rigorous methodologies that include market evaluation reports, visual forecasts, strategic reports, toolkits, predictions, technology arcs, and more.
Signing up for the AGN is the only way to access these full research notes for free. Typically, the AGN will offer up to 30 free research notes at a time, and research gets refreshed multiple times a year so that it remains current. Viewing research in the AGN is simple–under any ‘Files’ tab, you can select the research note of your choice and immediately view it–you don’t even have to download it!

Another perk of being part of the AGN is that you have the opportunity to chat with Aragon analysts at any time. You can simply submit a question or comment through the AGN, and expect a response within a few business days. This will give you a small taste of how communicating with our analysts can help you understand your markets and take your enterprise to the next level.
How to Get Started
With all of these offerings, you might be thinking that there must be a catch to joining the AGN. There isn’t! After your free 45 day AGN membership, you will simply be removed from the network and then have the option to discuss options with your account executive for how you can continue to access insights from Aragon.
Now is a great time to sign up for the AGN, as we have just refreshed the free research note offerings and added many new notes from 2019. The AGN will also be seeing some exciting updates by Yammer that will make the AGN experience even better.
