Namirial Dives Into Content AI and Digital Identity with Three Key Acquisitions

By Jim Lundy

Namirial is making moves to innovate and prepare for the future.

A leader in digital transaction management, Namirial has made two strategic acquisitions in the last six months that are significant: one has to do with content they gained in their acquisition of Netheos last November. The other has to do with Identity – in their recent deal to buy Bit4ID.

This blog discusses Namirial and their drive to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution – Intelligence and Automation by doing deals to add both technologies and expanded market coverage.

Namirial buys Netheos and dives into Content AI

While Netheos is not the first acquisition that Namirial has made, it is one of the most significant. The reason for this is that Netheos provides the ability to do real-time identity and verification of identity documents tied to a transaction. On top of that, they have the ability to verify individuals via facial recognition.

Netheos also offers some strong APIs which will make it easy to integrate their platform with the overall approach from their parent company in Namirial. As Digital Onboarding becomes more automated, Namirial is in a great position to leverage Netheos in their Onboarding offering.

Namirial buys EviCertia for market expansion

EviCertia is the second deal that was announced in February of 2022. Namirial is buying EviCertia to expand its market – this is due to EviCertia;s Digital Trust Services in  Spain, Brazil,

Namirial buys bit4id for both technology and market access

Namarial in conjunction with its investor Ambienta, announced the acquisition of bit4id, on April 21st, 2022. Bit4ID is closer to home – with its base in Naples. The core value we see in the deal is its PKI certificate offering.  There is overlap with some of Bit4ID’s other offerings including e-Signature and digital signature that Namirial will have to reconcile over time.

Namirial – when will they expand into North America?

With all of these deals, Namirial is well positioned in Europe and Latin America. The only missing question for Namirial is: when will they expand into North America?  North America is the largest market – and Aragon feels it is the next logical move for them to continue their growth.

It is important to note that Namirial’s CEO – Max Pellegrini who joined Namirial in September 2020 – has a strong history of work in the United States. So that is why Aragon feels confident that it is only a matter of time before they make a move.

Bottom Line

The Bottom Line is that Namirial is now an AI company – and with Netheos they are well positioned to lead in both Digital Identity and Content AI. As Namirial is now over $100M in total revenues, the future looks strong for them.
