This month Aragon is celebrating its 10 year anniversary. We couldn’t have accomplished such growth and innovation without the entire Aragon team. While we’ve been talking lately about the company’s accomplishments, it had the team thinking about our proudest moments throughout the years at Aragon and we wanted to share them with you.

Get to know the faces behind Aragon Research as we share some of our proudest moments:

“One of my proudest moments at Aragon was when we decided to go big with Visual Research. I look back at that fondly. It was hard to do, it took almost 4 years to build out our methodology. But now, we’ve produced hundreds of videos, and with commercial grade quality.” – Jim Lundy, CEO and Lead Analyst

“I am most proud that Aragon has made it to the 10-year mark, thanks to hard work from everyone in all of our departments. It is a team effort that has enabled us to continue to grow and build a strong presence in a very competitive environment.” – Patricia Sweeney, CFO and VP of Operations

“One of my proudest moments was organizing a successful company offsite for sales, marketing, and research for our 2nd Half of 2021.  Closing up the event with a fun team-building event at TopGolf.” Lisa Pazdel, Executive Assistant

“My highlight would be in managing the annual and mid-term predictions reports and seeing over the years how prescient we were in those predictions, all of which have helped our clients do better planning.” – Ken Dulaney, VP of Research and Aragon Fellow

“My proudest moment is when Jim and I identified the emerging tPaaS market. We both saw changes in the market happening from different viewpoints. We were talking one day about the market changes we saw, and suddenly realized it was a new market emerging that was an extension of, but significantly different from the iPaaS market. It was the teamwork and collaboration that made it so valuable and fulfilling.” Betsy Burton, VP of Research and Aragon Fellow

The thing I’m most proud of is the impact I’m having by bringing an operations automation mindset to Aragon, always looking for opportunities to automate and standardize tools and processes.  The two examples that come to mind are the standardization and automation of the forecast tables and graphs for our Foresight reports earlier in the year, and more recently creating a tool to auto-generate the Aragon Tech Arc from a simple table in Microsoft Excel.” – Craig Kennedy, Sr. Director of Research

My proudest moment at Aragon was working hard to launch Foresight, our new premium research service that includes quantitative and qualitative forecasts of markets throughout the software. The process of compiling research for this service was long and challenging, but I could not be happier with the final outcome.” – Adam Pease, Associate Analyst and Editor

I would say my proudest moment is being able to look back now at all that Aragon has accomplished.  To see the numerous instances where Aragon has played a major role in helping our clients achieve and surpass their most critical initiatives and goals is very rewarding.   Aragon has grown to where it is today by helping our clients who have in turn helped us grow by being very vocal about our advisory and research services.” – Bob Sweeney, VP of Sales

My proudest moment at Aragon is when I closed my first deal and brought on an awesome client!  What made this more special is that since I was still an intern, I wasn’t sure on some of the terms of the contract or how that whole process worked.  This was back when Aragon was just a few people.  So I had to call Jim (who at the time was camping in the Sierra Nevadas) on a satellite phone to confirm how to do the contract.  It was an unconventional way of doing business and it made getting my first deal all the more exciting.” – James Lundy, Client Success and Sales Manager

A great memory I have with Aragon Research is when we tied blankets for the animal shelter as one of our Aragon Cares activities. Everyone came together and collaborated on the blankets for the shelter animals. I love that our company participates in a different volunteer opportunity every month.” – Amy Townsend, Marketing Manager

“One of my proudest moments at Aragon was participating in our Aragon Cares activity at the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. Our team gathered together to cook a meal for the families staying there. We even got to serve the meals directly to the families, which was a special interaction. This activity reminded me why I’m proud to be part of Aragon–we always take the time to help others and give back!” – Kalyn Stockman, Associate Marketing Manager

I think the thing I’m most proud of is how much Aragon has allowed me to grow professionally. I joined the Aragon team early in 2021 and I have already accomplished so much that I am proud of! I was able to participate in my first Transform Tour virtual event, I got to write and post my first blog on relevant topics, participate in Aragon cares activities, and work with the marketing team to think of new and creative ways to innovate every day. I couldn’t think of a better team to work within this constantly changing work environment.” – Katie Bartenslager, Marketing Associate
