My First Day as an Intern
By Peter Toth
When I walked into the office for my first time this morning, I was greeted with a warm smile and a handshake. After sitting in on a few of Jim Lundy’s phone conferences, I knew that this position was not going to be “another typical internship”. It immediately became clear that the experience I will gain at Aragon Research will translate into usable skills in the workplace, and not just serve as an embellishment on a future resume.
I am a senior at University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Economics, and am thrilled to be part of the Aragon Research team. When I am not studying, you can find me in the garage working on my car, or just relaxing at the beach with my friends.
As an Aragon Research intern, I will be updating blogs, learning new research techniques, and communicating with some of Aragon Research’s top-tier clients. There will be plenty for me to do—and even more for me to learn. I am very excited to be part of the team as one of the 2016 Summer interns, and look forward to the new insights, perspectives, and skills that I will gain over the next few months.
Be on the lookout for a lot more content from me shortly!
