Business and IT Glossary > 360 Video
360 Video
360 video is the ability to capture and play back a video in a full 360-degree format, which allows for more enhanced viewing experiences. This allows the viewer to watch the recording and be able to see what is happening from multiple angles, as if they were turning their head.
360 video is often discussed with virtual reality, which is also an immersive experience, but is associated with a virtual environment.
Numerous video-enabled business applications (VEBAs) will emerge for 360 video. These include tourism, sports, marketing, and more. While there are many cameras that can record 360 video, there are not as many services that allow for interactive playback.
