Content Management
Content management is at the center of business processes and includes the technologies that support the collection, sharing, and management for digital content throughout the entire lifecycle.
The Enterprise Content Management market was codified in 2004 when numerous disparate technologies were consolidated into a core suite for the enterprise. Many large enterprises built critical business processes that leveraged ECM and just as many used ECM as their critical document storage platform of record.
The Enterprise Content Management market is in the midst of a major consolidation phase. This is partially due to it reaching market maturity. Aragon feels that new content needs are rising in the enterprise and creating demand for more robust Content Platforms.
