Global Mobility Management (GMM)

Global mobility management (GMM) is a business application that manages the complete set of processes and data required to identify, justify, and manage the movement of an existing employee or the hiring of an employee who requires relocation. GMM is designed to automate domestic and international employee mobility decisions, operations, and benefits.

An emerging segment in human capital management (HCM), global mobility management focuses on the management and relocation of staff to different geographical locations in which the enterprise is located. Historically, this has been a service-led approach. Today, it is becoming a software and services market.

Understanding the needs of the enterprise on a staffing level globally, and being able to manage the process of moving the right people to the right locations can give an enterprise a competitive advantage.
