Digital Business

Digital business refers to a business model or models that are specifically designed to enable organizations to proactively reach, serve and support their customers and partners from their contextual perspective (i.e., their personal, physical and virtual context). Today one of the top priorities of business leaders is to transform their enterprise from a partial to a fully digital business.

What this means is that rather than supporting a business model whereby customers and partners engage or transact with a given organizations via its defined business processes, information and technologies, digital business is about designing and creating business models that start with the customer/partner context.

CEOs, CDOs, and other business leaders responsible for digital transformation must first change their culture and thinking—then their business operations and execution—in order to successfully become a digital business.
