A Year-End Celebration of Success: Aragon Transform 18

We did it!

To all of our sponsors that helped make it happen, thank you. To all of our attendees that brought the insights, speeches, and the party, thank you. And to all of you that couldn’t make it this year, we’ll see you next year!

As for me, I should also thank the Aragon team for getting me through my first annual December event. Having joined Aragon just shy of a year ago, it’s hard to believe we’re closing in on 2019.

With the warm fuzzies of the event still fueling our holiday cheer (and filling our social media feeds), ’tis the season to cover the highlights of our biggest event of the year.

1. An Event This Big Needs a Name: Transform

Our December event is a jam-packed program.

Not only do we honor our 2018 Hot Vendor, Innovation, and Women in Technology award recipients, but we kick off the evening with a few hours of analyst presentations and panelist discussions. An event this big needs a name.

In the spirit of honoring innovation, celebrating success, and calling on enterprises to continually take steps toward transformation, we branded the event this year: Transform reflects our commitment to innovating together.

2. Bigger and Better

Did we mention it’s a big event?

This year, we doubled our space and had nearly 50% more attendees than last year. With packed houses in both the briefing and the ceremony, it looks like we’ll need more food for an even bigger Transform 2019.

By the way, save the date: December 5th, 2019.

3. All-Star Panelists

We couldn’t have put on a fantastic briefing without the participation of our notable panelists.

This year, our customer panel focused on automation and intelligence in the enterprise and featured an entertaining discussion with Herman Brown, CIO of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office; Ashley Green, Head of Customer Success at Fountain; and Teddy Liaw, CEO of NexRep.

Plus, our Women in Technology panel featured an impressive CEO lineup. Thank you to Everwise CEO Mercedes Ellison, uStudio CEO Jen Grogono, and Contentstack CEO Neha Sampat for sharing your words of wisdom.

4. All-Star Attendees

With a stacked program comes a stacked invite list.

While the Hot Vendor Awards recognize emerging technology providers, the Innovation Awards honor standouts that provide a best-in-class technology or service. Bringing together both leaders and up-and-comers from Silicon Valley and beyond makes Aragon Transform a unique opportunity to network with the best of the best and those that will be the best.

5. The Crowd Favorite: Women in Technology

It’s safe to say that the second edition of the Aragon Research Women in Technology Awards was the biggest hit of the night. We’re incredibly thankful that our inaugural 2017 winners were willing to pass the torch—and they did it wonderfully, might I add—to our 2018 winners.

Throughout each presenter and acceptance speech, it was clearly evident that our 2018 honorees are role models, innovators, and women that go above and beyond to drive change both inside and outside of their organizations. A huge congratulations to this year’s WIT winners and we’re looking forward to continuing the tradition in 2019.
