Business Outcome-Driven Performance Metrics Framework
Research Note
Summary
Technology-enabled investments today are more about evolving and transforming the organization’s business model, people, culture, and business ecosystem than just about the IT organization and technology. This means measuring the value and impact of these investments has become even more complex. In fact, the majority of organizations have either no or limited business outcome metrics, which means it is impossible for organizations to track of demonstrate the impact and business value of these investments.
In this note, we highlight Aragon Research’s Business Outcome-Driven Performance Metrics Framework and provide a real-world example to help executives and leaders define a set of metrics that can be used to communicate the value of the investments to management, their impact to peers, and inspire their teams.
