Fintech
Fintech, or financial technology, is a company’s use of software and modern technology to provide financial services. Fintech services can include lending, investments, consumer banking, and more.
Fintech developed in response to consumers becoming more tech-savvy and demanding of seamless and quick financial services. People in the digital age often prefer mobile technology platforms. Due to its innovative nature and competitive offerings, Fintech poses a threat to banking services. Because of it, people can now complete financial tasks painlessly through mobile devices, lessening the need to go through a bank.
As payments become part of the digital transaction management (DTM) feature set, Aragon expects new Fintech providers to partner with leading DTM providers to embed their core DTM capabilities into their applications—or to be able to just launch the native DTM mobile app to finalize the transaction and payment.
