February 2023 Aragon Cares: BStrong / Global Empowerment Movement
Aragon Cares is Aragon Research’s monthly activity focused on giving back to our local and surrounding communities.
For February, the Aragon Research team donated to BStrong to support their efforts with Global Empowerment Movement in providing emergency assistance to these areas.
About BStrong & Global Empowerment Movement
BStrong helps to provide real-time emergency assistance to people in crisis by partnering with the Global Empowerment Movement.
The organization was founded by Bethenny Frankel, CEO & Founder of Skinnygirl, television personality, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and author.
Most recently, BStrong has helped raise money, supplies and housing support for the Ukraine crisis. In the past, they have helped those impacted by natural disasters, like the Kentucky tornado and Hurricane Ida.
They also helped communities impacted by unexpected disasters, like the Bronx, New York apartment fire and the Miami Surfside condo collapse.
How We Helped and How You Can, Too
In partnership with Global Empowerment Movement, BStrong committed an initial $10,000,000 in donated supplies to help relief efforts.
In addition to donating supplies, they provided bulk food to shelters throughout southeastern Turkey in partnership with the Turkish Embassy.
The Aragon Research team provided monetary donations to help support the efforts of BStrong and the Global Empowerment Movement for those affected by the earthquake.
