Jim Lundy founded Aragon Research in 2011, after a 12 year stint at Gartner. Most recently Jim served as GM of Collaboration at a Saba Software Inc.
At Gartner, Jim Lundy was a Managing Vice President and Distinguished Analyst, where he helped lead coverage and thought leadership in Corporate Learning, Enterprise Content Management and most notably Social Software and Collaboration. Prior to Gartner, Jim Lundy spent 15 years at Xerox, where he held positions in Operations, Product Marketing and Product Management and Division Level Marketing.

Jim Lundy helped to develop the first full industry definition of ECM and the accompanying Magic Quadrant for ECM. Jim worked with many enterprises on developing content architectures that spanned from statement presentment to email, to web content management and document management. Jim is considered a thought leader in this area, particularly in helping enterprises to come up with plans to consolidate multiple content repositories.
In 2014, managing content is tougher than ever because there are multiple priorities and content types, such as video that need to be understood and embraced. Aragon Research understands that enterprises have multiple content priorities hitting them including the rise of Mobile Content Management, managing SharePoint, as well as a number of aging ECM repositories. Jim Lundy has done extensive work in Enterprise Social Networking and Collaboration and works with enterprises to help develop comprehensive approaches to all forms of Collaboration. On User Interface, UX and Usability
Jim Lundy is an expert on User Interface and design, due in part to years dealing with Software presentation. Jim’s time at Xerox was in the early days of computer user interfaces and having managed products, such as Xerox GlobalView and ViewPoint, Jim has the experience to help clients with sorting out an approach to user interface. Most recently, Jim Lundy oversaw the development of a Social Networking product and real-time collaboration products, including new user interfaces and new Mobile Clients that run on Tablets.
