Aragon Research Announces Its Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Social Software, 2012
August 16, 2012
Palo Alto, California
Aragon Research, a new technology-focused research and advisory services firm, announced the publication of the 2012 Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Social Software.
The 2012 Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Social Software reviews the state of the social software market and evaluates 22 different social software providers against three evaluation dimensions that include strategy, performance, and reach. Based on the evaluation, each social software provider is placed in one of four spheres: leader, innovator, specialist, or contender.
“While many enterprises are experiencing the benefits of socially-enabled collaboration, many more are still in the evaluation phase,” said Jim Lundy, CEO and co-founder of Aragon Research. “Our Aragon Research Globe evaluations go beyond Magic Quadrants or Waves and will help enterprises accelerate their vendor selections.”
The Aragon Research Globe for Social Software is available at aragonresearch.com. Aragon Research indicated it is developing additional Aragon Research Globes including Enterprise Mobile Management, Real-time Collaboration, Cloud Content Management, and Corporate Learning.
