When you call a store’s customer service hotline you most likely will first interact with a robot that will sort who in the company is the best to answer your question and then transfer your call. This gives back valuable time to your employees. Instead of them trying to answer frequently asked questions, that could probably be found on a FAQ page, or even locate the FAQ page, artificial intelligence can do it for them. Employees then have more time to actually answer complex customer questions and fill their time with more meaningful tasks.

Instead of having 3 notebooks, a couple of word documents, and presentations, an employee can have all of their work in one place. Instead of searching for what an employee is working on throughout different applications, they can search within one program within one search bar. This will improve productivity immensely.
Not only that, when working with coworkers on projects digital work hubs allow editing within real-time. For example, a digital work hub is google docs. When I am working on a google sheet my coworker can look at the same document and see my progress as I go. This reduces the time between communication between employees and can increase turnaround on projects.

This saves your employees time because they won’t have to transcribe the information and also increases collaboration between employees and departments. What might have taken an hour for an employee can take AI technology no additional time. Video analytics is easier, quicker, and more efficient especially if your workers are not in a physical office together every day.
And lastly, image and video analytics helps track the users’ information on their behavior. Instead of your employee trying to put together a profile for a potential customer image and video analytics can do it for them. They will be able to catch more accurate information than your employee can and your employee can use the information to build a better repour with customers. This ultimately saves employees the task of manually doing customer research.
